What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently, and how did it change your perspective? As for myself, I recently learned about the concept of “pre-crastination,” which is the urge to complete tasks as quickly as possible—even at the expense of doing them well or efficiently. It hit me because I sometimes rush through things just to “check them off my list”, even if it means creating more work for myself later. Im trying to learn to better consider this but it’s a daily effort. How about you? What’s something you’ve learned that stuck with you?

One of the most impactful things I’ve learned recently is about Imposter Syndrome. It’s that feeling where, no matter how much you achieve or how capable you are, you believe you don’t truly deserve your success and worry that others will eventually 'find out' you’re not good enough.. For a long time, I thought I was just lucky in the things I accomplished.. For example, when I got my first job, I told myself it happened only because I was in the right place at the right time, not because I worked hard for it or had the skills.. Even when people praised my work, I felt like I didn’t belong or that I was somehow fooling them. But learning about Imposter Syndrome changed my perspective. It made me realize that so many people, even the most successful ones, feel this way. It’s not a reflection of my abilities, it’s just my inner critic speaking too loudly. Now, I’m working on reminding myself that my efforts, my skills, and the results I achieve are real and valid. Have you ever felt this way?

I was influenced by the book 80/20. My uncle gave it to me. After reading it, I realized a lot for myself, this book tells me how to devote 20% of my efforts and get 80% of the result. I advise everyone to read🤝

OMG that’s so me. I’m such a pre-crastinator. And I think it comes from my ability to make so much more work than ever before via technology. Feelings of being overwhelmed by my own need to make stuff all the time. The most interesting thing for me is being here. I never knew this was even possible three months ago, so it’s completely changed my outlook of how I want to do this creative thing going forward. I do need to go a little slower though sometimes I feel overwhelmed with all the information it’s all interesting information but my little brain can’t process it all some days you know plus making art it’s a lot, but I’m here for it and I’m grateful for it. Good night. 🤩

I challenge my goals by exercising every day. I often feel the bitter taste of failure while exercising steadily for five days a week. After experiencing failure often, I realize that failure is not failure. Failure was the process to success. I'm not afraid of anything. am still living a challenging life today because I know that failure is not a failure, but a process to leap forward

As for me, I recently learned about the idea of “second-order thinking,” which involves looking beyond the immediate consequences of decisions and considering their ripple effects. It made me realize how often I focus on short-term outcomes without considering the longer-term impacts. For example, when setting priorities, I’m trying to ask myself: “What happens next if I make this choice?” It’s definitely a mindset shift.

"Always keep yourself and your mind busy" is what I learned just this month. I’m not the most hardworking person, even now, but I used to do basically nothing outside my work, and it started to annoy me. This month, I decided to keep myself busy by reading books, attending seminars, exploring research, refining my trading skills, and generally maintaining a busier schedule. To me, this builds the most important skill in life: consistency and discipline. I know that I am not obligated to do any of this, but I do it anyway. This has changed my perspective in a whole new way my mind feels clearer and sharper. I interact with people better now. I recommend always keeping yourself busy, whether by learning new skills or acquiring new knowledge.

That my students don’t know their last names, parents phone number, address… It’s scary that this isn’t deemed as “important” to parents nowadays.
