What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently, and how did it change your perspective? As for myself, I recently learned about the concept of “pre-crastination,” which is the urge to complete tasks as quickly as possible—even at the expense of doing them well or efficiently. It hit me because I sometimes rush through things just to “check them off my list”, even if it means creating more work for myself later. Im trying to learn to better consider this but it’s a daily effort. How about you? What’s something you’ve learned that stuck with you?

As for me, I recently learned about the idea of “second-order thinking,” which involves looking beyond the immediate consequences of decisions and considering their ripple effects. It made me realize how often I focus on short-term outcomes without considering the longer-term impacts. For example, when setting priorities, I’m trying to ask myself: “What happens next if I make this choice?” It’s definitely a mindset shift.
