Where have all the web3 galleries and spaces gone? They've gone out of business because it's not financially viable to run a space like this. It's a lot of work and it's expensive to run an IRL space in NYC. 🌆 LUME has been doing web3 events in NYC since 2020 and is still doing art shows and digital art events because we believe in this space and want to foster meaningful relationships in the space. Hope yall can see that this isn't about the money. 💰 This is about building a new paradigm for us as creatives and as people. ✊

The amount of space they have would be astronomical. I share a small studio art space about a block from them with @foodmasku Think we’re paying around $2200 for around 300 sq ft. It’s a really good deal because we’re one of two studios in the building with its own sink! 🤣
