On this day in 1934, notorious American outlaws, Bonnie & Clyde were gunned down in a shoot out by Texas Ranger Francis Augustus Hamer. More than 20,000 people attended Bonnieโ€™s funeral, making it difficult for her family to reach the grave. Clyde was buried privately alongside his brother.
