Keeping the same pfp for a long time is underrated. Most people don’t recognize your username. They recognize your pfp. It can be tempting to change it for new trends & projects you’re excited about. Keeping the same pfp can feel boring. But the similarity compounds.

Absolutely. My PFP is my personal brand at this point. People might remember my name but they most certainly remember my base punk. I even did an unscientific experiment on this a few weeks back. Changed my pfp for a few hours and watched my engagement plummet.
