If someone is giving you an identity, they can revoke it whenever they please. I’m not interested in identities which are given to me. I don’t need anyone to tell me who I’m, I want to show up to the different places/platform with the identity that I want and be treated based on that base. @saymore done

Agree—a self-sovereign identity only lives up to the name if it can be discarded and replaced at will without any external permission requirement Anything less is just a rebrand of what we already have

100 resonate w your thoughts above. i think ‘identity’ gets abused online and we try to equate it with ‘account’. any account has an account provider and if that provider is not you, then you are a user not an owner. the web is jittery bc our accounts get in the way. wdyt
