Trump won the popular vote. The average American voter wants Trump as their President โ€” which was not the case in 2016 or 2020. I was on the ground canvassing in PA. Spoiler alert: our middle class is not doing well. One of the last guys I talked to was holding a pizza box and almost teared up telling me he couldnโ€™t afford pizza. True story, just happened last month. Our middle class is the backbone of America. Whether you care about the economy or just care about helping those that have less than you โ€” you should want the middle class to do well! Listen to them, understand their problems, make their lives better. This is how America will continue to thrive. Democrats need to take a step back and re-evaluate their entire strategy and messaging. Itโ€™s all fucked.

the problem is one party actually fights for the middle class and one party just panders to them while pillaging

While I agree the Demโ€™s messaging to the middle was a failure, how do you see these Americans faring in 6 months or 4 years under Trumpโ€™s economic policies?

While I personally do not think things Will get better. (Plans contributing 6 trillion to the debt ceiling) vs Kamala, They keep trying to get rid of Obama care with nothing. I can keep going but I donโ€™t feel like it. Things are not good now. Things may not be good later. We need to find something to vote and fight for, like @trish says, or nothing gets better. Shit is definitely hard I understand and respect that. But I saw no benefit from trump, except he made corps happy, gave us bonuses, and laid more people off. Either way. We hold things in divine order, at this point.

I don't like that use of the word "average", but also seriously I don't get it. Democrats offer lower taxes for the middle class, cheaper healthcare, consumer protections, better education, more robust social programs, quality of life improvements across the board. What is Trump actually offering except a handful of minority groups to hate and blame all the problems on? He has no plan except to enrich himself at everyone else's expense. I definitely live in a weirdly flavored ignorance bubble that makes me unable to understand why people would so willingly and enthusiastically vote against their own self interests.
