my body and throat are yelling at me today for a four hour then five hour sleep night and rise to rest working, teaching, and working out sneezes galore and a swollen throat i shall give myself a sufficient night’s sleep tonight 😝

time on the back patio in the sun and in meditation to start the morning slowly and settling my mind and body was v needed after a 330am work night 🫠 there was a rather loud pull to self this morning that i couldn’t ignore as i had the whispers the last few days

there is something so soothing about teaching the vin yin class i took on last month about slowing down and “doing less” everyone always wants the intensity i want the intensity but i also don’t depending which i, i am listening to do you listen to the wants of one “i” over the other?

still processing what /farcon meant to me however there was an internal shift that i could physically feel a settling of sorts it meant a LOT to meet people in person it helped with understanding the space, the connections and support that exist here, the purpose it connected a lot of floating dots in my mind

the journey to ~just be yourself~ is a long one when you spent 27 years unconsciously trying to not be & thereby dont know who you are, ur likes, dislikes, interests bc they were all shaped by others to ~fit in~ 30 now. progress these last three years has been W!LD but damn those pathways are fkn etched into the mind

since i went to a t swift concert last august in LA w my sister, step mom & step sisters, ive been on a quest to understand the fandom. the parasocial relationship is highly fascinating and the ~pick your depth~ you can try to decipher who she’s dated or what she’s read and her philosophy and view of life.
