my dad is a sweetheart and this made me tear up today amid the discomfort of a family group chat where you’re not allowed your opinion. or, you are but you’re wrong and you can’t be here anymore. sharing here for anyone struggling with the same with friends or family. i encourage you to stand in your own views, beliefs, and visions for the future while holding space for others to hold theirs.

we live in the hills of a super small town so my nightly walks are (now) super dark and super quiet. i’ve always had a bit of a fear of the dark and up here it comes in the form of the awareness of the animals with which we coexist- coyotes, bears, wolves, cougars. one night, i noticed that the fear is significantly stronger when i am walking away from the house as opposed to toward it. even when i first turn around and am still a mile away from home. as soon as i turn toward home, less fear. also, hey. it’s been a minute 👋🏼

i’m curious how the concept of money will be taught to kids without the physical currency as common and eventually nonexistent. money as a completely digital asset. i think back to how difficult it was for me to grasp any technical concept over the years - data warehouses, data architecture, terminal, etc. it will be interesting to watch education change (🤞🏼) in the years to come

being a graphic designer + a yoga teacher means branding your own biz ✌🏼 these were a sample order and i have some tweaks that were made to the logo since placing it but it’s always a rad feeling to see designs in person.

this line encapsulates my experience when i listen to kings of leon every damn time. they’ve been my favorite band for 6+ years now. i can’t recall when i first listened to them or how their music came into my life. i’ve listened to their songs countless times and there are some songs i still don’t know half the words to because i am so deeply about the feeling and there is just something about their music that makes me smile and wiggle and i love it sm 🥹 i got to see them two years ago for the first time alone in budapest and i was so stoked when i saw they had a US your this year 🤘🏼 already looking forward to the next time hehe

anyone a /zora pro that could help a gal out? i’m logged in the same as always and getting a “missing auth” error via the console when i try to upload a video to a collection. i’m sure it could be a me error so looking for someone to watch the steps im taking and see where im messing up the flow! :) i’ll throw you a month of my yoga flow hypersub for your time 🧘🏼‍♀️

yoga flows will be out to hyper sub folk sooon i appreciate the patience as i was traveling & visiting family the week before last and didn’t get a chance to film! im back w flows ready to send out to y’all 🥳 but zora is zonking on me when i attempt to mint them 😮‍💨 will look into another option if no luck tomorrow 🫶🏼

i got to teach yoga at a farm in the area yesterday and it was so gosh dang beautiful after we sipped tea and the owner of the farm let us all pick dahlia tubers to take home 😍

dinner last night: lamb tacos - lamb seasoned w cinnamon, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, garlic - quick pickled red onions (acv, garlic, cumin) - homemade tzatziki - guac w tomatoes, lemon & mint - broccoli sprouts - gorgonzola - egg “tortillas”! did you know you can literally just blend up eggs water s&p and make delicious and sturdy “tortilla”!? each “tortilla” came out to 1 egg, new fav thing one of the best meals i’ve ever made, an hour later we still were talking ab it
