I often praise the Base team, but this is a good example of why it's important for them to be careful how they use the term "onchain." It is not enough to say that "onchain" is like "online" but for blockchains. The term comes with a promise of trust, security, verifiability, and reliability that is unique to our medium. Anything that cannot meet that burden should not be labeled as such.
