It seems to me that followers on social media are sort of like compound interest - the more you have, the more you keep accruing. It appears that once you get to a certain level, it takes off and keeps growing. Just a thought I had when I was offering advice to someone to try and gain more followers on here. The first 500 is the most difficult.

How is it different for you? It was fast at first and then stopped? I certainly didn't do anything strategic about it. But after 800 then it increased greatly, although I feel like many of the followers were also bots too.

Yes, I got most of my followers at the beginning. I am stuck around 1.5k since months
