Gn Sometimes I wish I could just pause life. I really wish life had a pause button. Just so I could wait a second & take a breather before some things I don’t want to happen eventually happen. I wish I could also rewind life. But then again, I know I’m not the only one wishing that.

Wonderful photo, Beatriz! It gives me a moment of pause to look at, so I hope it is doing the same for you! One reason I almost always make very detailed art is in the hope that it will catch someone's eye long enough that they forget whatever it is that is weighing on their mind for a moment, because, if they are like me, there's always something they are worrying about. It is nice to get lost in a "timeless" piece of art sometimes as a brief remedy to that constant stress! 200 $WILD

I can't tell you how much I understand that. Thanks to art and photography, my mind can find direction on a path that would otherwise be aimless. For people like us, whose minds never stop thinking and worrying about everything, it's essential to keep our minds occupied with things like this. Before art, the only time I felt at peace was when I was asleep, as that was the only way my mind could rest, though even then, sometimes I'd wake up screaming. So, I'm really glad to be in this world now and to have met people like you. You'll always have me here if you need anything. 200 $WILD
