In late April 2017, before I left Squamish, BC after living there for 3 years, I took a small craft photo flight and photographed the mountains from above. It was still very snowy in the mountains and this is one of the gems I was able to capture on that flight, just NE of Squamish. The sun did a nice highlight for me of the mountain peak.

I’m starting to see that you’re a real adventurer at heart. The sheer number of experiences you’ve had is amazing. It’s like you’ve lived a dozen lifetimes, each one filled with new challenges and discoveries. It’s truly inspiring to hear about all the things you’ve done and places you’ve explored.

I completely understand what you're saying. Time flies, and I've been stuck at home since June, only going out for work. Sooner or later, I'll have to leave this desert to find a life where I can enjoy the things I love to do. Mentally, I'm feeling crushed, and many days I don't even want to 'live' because it's just more of the same. In October, I'm going on vacation to a place where I won't be roasting in the heat. My illness doesn’t allow me to have a very normal life, and the heat makes everything worse. I just want to get out of here and truly live. I like the way you think, and I know that if we lived in the same place, we'd be out doing things and exploring every day.

You inspire me to write about my experiences, dear Beatriz. I joke that I'm a "collector of experiences" and that was not intentional, but it seems to be what I value the most. It may seem like I've done so many things, and perhaps I have compared to the average person, but it's funny, but I feel like I am not doing enough with my life and want more experiences and time seems to fly these days. Would love to meet you one day!
