I used to have a study lamp, and I’d put the caps of Bic pens so close to the bulb that they’d melt. My mom figured it out when she was cleaning and saw the bulb covered in melted plastic. Funny enough, I never chewed on pencils or pens because I was scared of accidentally getting bugs in my mouth.
