Which movie director(s) do you admire?

For me, guillermo del toro always makes great films. Finished Pinocchio with the fam. I love how he plays around with the story.

Honestly a film maker will make a different film at a different point in their life and - I think the timing of when you watch it could be different 

Case in point: “boyhood” vs “slackers” by Linklater. “Boyhood” is for when you’re a parent, “slackers” is for when you’re in your 20s
