What’s the checks and balances system for channel mods on Farcaster? We’ve seen that be a problem with Reddit On-chain channel governance?? 😏 Otherwise some channels are bound to have the same fate with power hungry mods

There isn’t one right now But anyone can create a new channel, so users can vote with their feet

The reality is once a channel cements a big enough following it’s going to be hard to get people to migrate Seent it with subreddits too

The difference is that there is only one way to access Reddit. Channels are based on FIP-2, which is a protocol level feature. This should encourage more competition via client diversity.
