i went for a late night solo walk through this area it was so lovely at night

extremely narrow paths even bikes are not allowed, locals were feeding a couple stray neko-chans, traditional architecture everywhere, i can still smell the incense from that shrine 💭

Osaka is not my favorite city. It’s too busy for me but it has some lovely spots that make it a worthwhile spot. I’m a Kyoto gal at heart.

yep i hear you there, it was actually the least clean place we visited, likely bc dotomburi attracts so many tourists to one dense area ? as opposed to tokyo having many many different destinations for folks (my guess)

Yeah. It’s nasty. And touristy. But you have to go once. But it’s not where I would like to hang. Maybe if  I was 20 years younger. It’s like Shinjuku. You have to twist my arm to get me to go. I avoid it.

i am not one for the mega crowds either, but at least with my height i can see over top everyone ^^

the girl i travelled with very much enjoyed being taller than average, whereas i did a lot of crouching and hitting my head on stuff, but I won’t complain lol
