Tips for separation anxiety? 11 months old and it's pretty bad. If I even walk out of the room, whether I'm in sight or not, he cries so much

We were actually just talking about getting a second Tonies box because our toddler loves his so much and the baby is interested too.    Maybe we will try using that to distract more. Thanks for this idea!!

They're both pretty good at independent play but if the baby even catches a whiff of me he's almost inconsolable

We got our daughter a Tonies box with some of her favorite stories and songs. It kinda makes it feel like there’s someone in the room with her. Has helped a lot and now she’ll even independently play for a while

Unfortunately I have zero pointers. My husband is gone weeks for a time and they always get super sad. 
I just have to distract them which seems impossible.

I hate that he gets so upset but I can't constantly hold him. I have to sneak around the house sometimes just to get things done. If I leave the house and he sees me it's absolute game over
