Alcohol stops your body from burning fat Once you get within normal weight range, targeted core exercises + caloric deficit will work together and lead to body recomposition (ie fat turning into muscle)

PS fat does NOT turn into muscle πŸ˜‚ I meant that if you exercise core / belly muscles while you keep burning fat, there will be marginal localised toning

Yup caloric deficit, but most people can’t do it due to the feeling of hunger. That’s the main problem. Second, belly fat could be the last fat that get reduced, meaning you have to lose other fats in your body first, meaning you suffer longer. So need discipline and consistency … and eventually habits.
