maybe the biggest surprise was seeing builders value recognition over financial rewards. Having your contributions verified and Builder Score displayed on platforms like Etherscan created as strong engagement as token incentives. We didn't expect ecosystems to become our most enthusiastic customers. Protocols like Base integrated our Builder Score to identify and reward builders without applications or reviews. These insights shaped our token model to focus more on utility (API access and governance) rather than speculation. Building in public allowed our community to help refine our vision in real-time.
