If it was Open Source do you think itd be okay? I'm uncomfortable about these retina scans but the US government has my fingerprints so idk...

But isn't the iPhone code closed and people still let it get the face data?

That is an excellent question. 

Mobile usages has already taken our finger print and, for some, face scan.

If the code is open, auditable and we know how the records are being stored, used and processed, I would be okey with joining them.

I would rather my fingerprints stolen than my retinas
