I really enjoyed reading this and it made me realize that I’m mostly in the Niche Internet. The only rare exception is X, where I spend less and less times. Otherwise, even on YouTube I only go via links from various chats.

I really enjoyed reading this — one of my favorite nicheternet things are user generated film recommendations on Mubi.com If you subscribe to Mubi, you're already seeking niche content, and then the user lists of obsure film categorizations are another layer of niche Re: Reddit I do wonder what will happen post IPO

I was about to send the link of Jack Conte’s talk at SXSW but I saw it at the end of the article! Nice essay, I totally share your pov. But I think one easier shift to help niche communities is new social media platforms, as we see the rise of emerging ideas. Discord was a very good solution for niche Internet places
