Seems like CT dunk&shill-driven culture is the problem here.

Something more like 2016-20 era. Sure, tons of scams and grifts going around, a lot of toxicity without much civility, but the mainstream, majoritarian culture was not one of fighting, degeneracy and "financial nihilism" as some call it, not to mention the constant bigotry and such

Instead, a more optimistic discourse about applications, usecases, how crypto can be net positive for the world and how the many negative effects can be minimized, welcoming to a diverse crowd with different opinion; and definitely not holding up grifters, opportunists and scammers to the pedestal
