What's the most annoying crypto 'truth' you disagree with?

I will start: 'Crypto's biggest problem is bad UX'.

i'd refine it a bit, and say "low number of apps that are actually useful and satisfy users' needs better than their web2 counterparts"

this "byproduct part" captures the core of the idea. 

UX is the byproduct of something that delivers value for user - we should work on that part more :)

kind of agree and disagree at the same time. 

i believe that crypto needs to be invisible to succeed - so in a way hidden from the user (kind of like how linux took over, but no regular user really cares/knows). therefore there's technically no ux to speak of, but at the same time it's all about the ux (though as a byproduct of solving all the other issues).

It is important but I don't think it's the most important.

In 2021, we had much worse UX and much more newbies trying crypto :)

I's argue that UX is a big problem limiting crypto adoption.

Newbies are turned off from trying out existing dApps to even validate it's usefulness cos of the technicalities and steep learning curve.

Innovations around smart wallets are proofs that UX can reduce the barrier to entry.
