conceding a valid point to someone in your outgroup feels weirdly similar to (very inexperienced!) meditation - there’s a distinct awareness/pause that happens not a trader, but I wonder if switching your long/short bias feels the same 🤔

I have one friend who is incredibly annoying during discussions but sometimes has "worldview change" level fair points and it's so hard to process them...
