Time to get rid of my lawn/grass* ... -lay down layers of cardboard -5+ inches of mulch on top Arms gonna be sore for the next few days😩 *Grass serves very little benefit to wildlife (vs flowering Bushes/trees)

Congrats! Can be a tough choice for some, but I agree with you, flowers, shrubs, trees, are best for wildlife. All the birds, bees (and cats) come to our yard, which has no grass at all. All our neighbours' yards (all grass) are barren and boring. 10 $DEGEN

If you let your grass grow tall enough, it can become really interesting for animals, and you could have an ecosystem forming there as well
