Totally agree, although I’m more of a words person anyway, so that’s probably most of the reason I feel that way.

Yes, although the payoff doesn’t have to be satisfying. It can be sad or devastating instead. Chuck Palahniuk is a master at this.

DCA monthly into index funds and DO NOT pause it if you can afford to. It doesn’t even have to be a large amount. I missed out on so many years where I could’ve just hit the bullet and ate out less or something like that.

lol, not really the good news is that i can get a ton of practice since we run 3-4 events per week at Invisible College and i can listen back to the recordings i find it tough to think about reducing those phrases while also trying to talk intelligently about something on the fly, though

any tricks to reducing filler words when speaking? i say these phrases too often: – and stuff – things like that – kind of – maybe even like – ending too many sentences with "right?" – using "like" WAY too much i want to come across as casual, but i know these aren't helping me either

just web makes so much more sense, but obviously less chance of going viral I actually co-wrote this piece recently about how that web1/2/3 meme is lacking: https://invisiblecollege.substack.com/p/the-evolution-of-the-interwebs
