This week I built and experimented with interesting ways of using the smart wallet. One idea that I am particularly interested in is leveraging the power of smart wallets to bring a familiar UX of e-commerce to buying tokens and memes. Here is a prototype that I am working on - I would love to hear feedback!

This same proxy is used by @moonwell to protect our Paymaster from abuse while sponsoring transactions for our community. 🌜🆓🌛 Note: I don't need ETH so if my post wins, I would prefer it be donated to other builders instead of myself.

Roadmap: I'll implement Durable Object support in the next release so you can set more advanced policies that enable per wallet/per time period limits, so you can, for example, sponsor up to 50 transactions per week per wallet to further limit abuse and control your Paymaster spend.

This repository is contributed as a public good to help other builders rapidly update their apps to support the Base Gasless Campaign, which will enable you to sponsor free transactions for your users on Base, while protecting your Paymaster from unauthorized calls. Contributions are welcome.

Jesse's video inspired me to open source something I built this week on @base: A Paymaster / Bundler proxy that runs as a Cloudflare worker and protects your @coinbasedev Paymaster API from abuse by ensuring that only calls to an allowed list of contracts are forwarded. https://github.com/moonwell-fi/paymaster-proxy
