Maybe memecoins are not stupid. But they are certainly a distraction for most founders. More casino than computer, so to speak. Distractions are more dangerous than purely stupid or evil things. You can spend a whole decade being distracted thinking you’re making progress.

Lots of people gnashing their teeth about "points to get PMF"... you may be able to get some (needed) attention by pushing that narrative, but my instinct is that you get low quality interactions and very few products can be positioned to take advantage of that.

I think you need to add that only as a growth (and potentially alignment) strategy post PMF. If you add tokens before PMF you’re most likely adding noise and distractions.
