This is βPastinaβ We Italians eat this when we feel we need to eat something light after some days of exaggeration π Even if Italian cuisine is very famous all around the world I think weβre pretty weird people π when we donβt feel too good and our stomach is not ready for fat food we eat this that is basically: Pasta + butter + Parmigiano Cheese Not exactly light πππ

I swear it's not a joke. Many people from Spain come to Asturias for gastronomic tourism π To give you an example... Site Illas-Asturias- The site is home to a gastronomic association called The Brotherhood of cholesterol For 22 euros here in Asturias you can eat a menu of the day consisting of: A first course of Fabada Asturiana or Pote asturiano -a stew made with cabbage, faba beans, potato and compango, i.e. chorizo black pudding and lacΓ³n. Second course: Adobo de lomo casero, with 'caleya' eggs -hens raised outdoors- and fried potatoes. -Picadillo with potatoes. -Callos -Suckling lamb with potatoes -Stewed meat with potatoes. DESSERTS: La Peral cheese -Cabrales type, softer- with quince jelly. Rice with milk Homemade grandmother's cake With the drink of your choice and bread. And a shot of cherry liqueur or the one of your choice.
