One of my goals in 2024 was to be conversationally fluent in Spanish I knew I had gotten a lot better but didn’t think I achieved it Then I was listening to a Spanish podcast yesterday and realized I could understand 90% of it Like I could follow the conversation even tho I didn’t know every word Then it hit me like damn I really do speak Spanish now lmao that’s crazy My goal over the next few years when I get Noetic to a sustainable spot is to move to a Spanish speaking country for six months to cement Spanish as a second language

1. Finish every lesson in babbel 2. Listen to the babbel conversations (2 people have a conversation in Spanish and you listen then it gets broken down in English 3. Any chance I could try to talk to someone in Spanish, do it (Ubers, restaurants, cafes, etc) [I live in Miami so] 4. Try to have as many conversations in Spanish with my friends when they were willing to entertain me 5. Text my friends in Spanish and ask them to reply in Spanish so if there were words I didn’t know I could use a translator to look them up 6. Start seeing a girl from Venezuela that doesn’t speak any English
