Sometimes we get frustrated with each other, but I am grateful for this little monster. She forces me out of the addictive comfort of my bed and into nature to touch grass. Today we took a 2.5 hour walk in sunshine and perfect weather. It’s not a perfect antidote when feeling down, but it sure does help a significant amount. Audiobook I’m currently listening to: The Mountain is You by Brianna Wiest

5 years old - Mom, I love you. 12 years old - Mom, I can't stand you. 16 years old - My mother is very annoying. 18 years old - I'm leaving this house. 25 years old - Mom, you were right. 30 years old - I want to go to my mom's house. 50 years old - I don't want to lose my mother. 70 years old - I would give up everything to have my mom here with me. You only have one mom. Take care of her while she's still alive. Do take it easy on them, it’s their first time on earth too😔

Let’s normalize putting the location for a job at the beginning and not “remote” I’ve applied for 6 jobs today and at the end the last statement/question was “this position requires citizens of so and so country are you a citizen? Or 1 hour away from so so city” like I spent hours tailoring my CV and writing cover letters for nothing. Y’all count your blessings and be glad you have a job it’s tough out here for a muscular guy with a small waist and fat ass.
