This is one of Nigerians popular sandwiches🥪
Ingredients:

	•	4 slices of bread or more
	•	1 small can of sardines in oil 
	•	2 tablespoons butter (softened)
	•	1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
	•	½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
	•	1 boiled egg (mashed)

Instructions:

	1.	Prepare the Sardine Mix:
	•	Drain excess oil or sauce from the sardines.
	•	Mash the sardines in a bowl using a fork.
	•	Add black pepper and onion powder
	•	Mix in the mayonnaise and mashed boiled egg to make it creamier.
	2.	Butter the Bread:
	•	Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
	3.	Assemble the Sandwich:
	•	Spread the sardine mixture on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread.
	•	Place another slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
	4.	Toast the Sandwich: using a toasting machine 
      toast until it’s golden brown and crispy.
	•	Remove from heat, cut into halves, and enjoy warm with tea or a cold drink.
