I now have to find every means possible to watch!!

my background is family/adult medicine, so not a lot of time spent in the ER other than a clinical rotation during training. but from what i've seen in the show, yeah, the diagnostic reasoning, clinical decision-making, and medical interventions are pretty solid (no real wtf moments i can think of so far).

i'd likewise be curious to hear what emergency med folks think. i suspect, among other things, they'd say the show does a good job of capturing the post-covid moral injury affecting many people on the frontline of the u.s. health system.

i was on a call today with a teaching hospital’s head of emergency medicine and ALL i wanted to do was ask him how accurate the show is, so ty for telling me :)
