leaderboards = interesting ingredient to incentivize a community. it leverages social capital that's not as strong as financial incentive. 'free money' can get the core of a community perverted in a way that invites the farm and bounce behaviors yes i share this screenshot because i've regained my #1 spot here 📈

leaderboards are super powerful, they basically "gamify" anything we've seen projects even reward users for their leaderboard positions, which takes it up a notch (as long as people cannot game it) I think Blur was one of the innovators in this space with their 24hr rolling leaderboards
