Fuul is an affiliate marketing protocol that lets Web3 projects pay out commissions or share revenue on-chain with affiliates.

How does it work?
Let’s get into it 👇

Affiliate programs on the Fuul protocol are smart contracts that have their own:

• conversion events
• payout rules
• budgets

Upon successful referrals, affiliates claim commissions directly from the contract.

Conversion events:

• could be one or a combination of triggers
(events or functions on a smart contract or off-chain event)

• should ideally be revenue generating events that allow crypto projects to share part of those revenues with affiliates

Through payout rules, projects define how much they are willing to pay out to anyone that refers users that convert into such conversion events.

Payouts can be:
• Defined as fixed or variable (%)
• Paid out in allowed tokens
• Split across affiliates and end users

Budgets are escrowed into the program’s smart contract.

Why?

• It gives 100% security to affiliates that as long as the affiliate program is live, funds will be available for them to claim as they refer users successfully

• It automates the payouts process for projects
