I 100% agree that Tesla FSD is not even close to Waymo but the moment Tesla makes vision only FSD be as good as Waymo, Waymo might be screwed. I wonder if Waymo is already training models to reduce dependency on all of their expensive hardware.

Even with internet it's harder to know these things when living outside the US. I thought Tesla would be the first to have fully autonomous vehicles lol 😅 when tesla actually deploys its fleet in 3-4 years waymo seems in the path to control that market by then.
