This might be stupid question to ask on farcaster but ... is there any other decentralised social platform I should consider joining? My goals for joining farcaster and X: - see how it works (really, I don't use any social media) - get to know more about web3 - get @bfg of my back that I'm missing out on meeting cool people outside of my bubble - build base for non-academic discussion for my research on being human in the age of ai I'm not here for airdrops, scams or life changing money...but I do enjoy good art and photography and that seems to be plentiful here.

getting to know more about web3 is one of my goals here too. As for other platforms I know Bluesky social is open source, I have an account but don’t use it much so far. I’ve been exploring sm alternatives to meta and X, I think here is winning so far! I also like discord for niche group interests.

yeah, I have encountered some scam bots and accounts that imitate other severs particularly in the crypto and NFT space…. Hey, I’m curious how are finding warpcast so far (since we are both new here)?

I find it interesting here, definitely more welcoming than X, feels like more normal people and genuine attention. Also thinking that there are more options how to grow here than on X, but I'm no expert on either, I'm just not used too be "invisible"
