How do you know if your cat needs a friend? We think Scoopy is lonely. Not sure.

I think all pets need a same-species friend. Just like a pet doesn’t fulfill all of our social needs, we can’t fulfill all of theirs.

Thank you, yes same species is key! My family is bit bent on getting a dog atm, since grandma has a dog that's good with cats (cavapoo) and it's sister will be having a new litter soon. I'm skeptical that this type of friend will be a good idea for Scoopy, but I'm still open to the idea. It would be a big life change for her! idk
