Where do you stand on solipsism? I see it as foundational to virtually everything else (in a first principles kind of way), and yet it is almost universally brushed aside as irrelevant, which I find oddly frustrating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism

I was once obsessed with solipsism. Camu provided some context to its practical existence. The Myth of Sisyphus. The Stranger. Dostoyevsky also, tbh. Crime and Punishment.

There is no escape from the subjective and the only key to survival is self advocacy. Still, the tribe has great meaning.

This is a great answer. We are trapped in this subjective sensory interface with the world that we call a body, yet we yearn for objective and universal truths beyond ourselves. We are a gregarious species, and yet we are ultimately alone as agents of our own survival. The most foundational dichotomies of all
