I didn't realize that China banned time travel shows and movies. What about books? It would be an interesting fact if true but it isn't. There is a current trend in TV shows for time travel back to earlier dynasties. I don't watch Chinese TV so can't comment on the quality but I suspect if forced to watch I'd wish a ban was in place!
