100% On @cogs we found hanging out together, giving @cojo.eth direct feedback and being part of a successful product launch were all good motivators beyond also getting a small $ recognition for the time spent (it think all in all we distributed ~$10K among participants) And it seem it was valuable because we ended up running 3 campaigns with Ponder (lol i almost forgot...luckily i documented it all) https://paragraph.com/@liorg/coown-growth-studio-x-ponder-building-on-success-with-social-predictions -->

i'd love to implement this feature on @productclank. for my own need + for any builder launching on PC Actually that was a feature @dwr.eth suggested i consider when we met in Farcon Top believers in products could also be early adopter that help test, try and provide feedback to a newly launched product

Lots of learnings and insights from Farcon but one that hit me hard is that as high signal high quality the Farcaster community is, that comes with a huge disadvantage Since everyone are so capable, we are all (I'm including my self in this sin) trying to push our own thing As much as I came with a stated goal to find collaborators, it feels like if you really wanna find ppl to build with you, better find them outside of this community.

I agree with Ted, I think people tend to put everything in one bulk because it makes it easier to resonate on things, but I try to split the audience and accept that there are different personas with different problems and different needs. Speculators just want to speculate and make money - they are not necessarily the classic web3 social user that you might think of But they're crucial to allow velocity of capital and content that is driven by the speculation That velocity drives those that are attracted by the innovation and are excited by the opportunity to use apps that also come with some financial upside And then come the builders that can benefit from having these two distinct personas - they can deliver experiences that are fun and social with a financial element that serves both speculators and users.
