The 3-person Paragraph team spent the last 11 days in Japan as part of a team offsite.

It was also the first time (in two years!) that the entire team met eachother.

It was very valuable getting in-person time together, and it was long overdue!

How often do you go on team offsites, and for how long?

After going on our first offsite I realized I've underrated how valuable they can be.

I like a cadence of 2-3 times a year.  I did once a season and it started to feel more like a chore.

They are invaluable, especially for a remote team.  Those bonds you make flow into every other aspect of your work.

Without them, you’re just a team.  With them, you’re a crew.
