I need to better understand the leaderboard: Why does it seem to freeze after the first two days? Is this a psychological thing where people have just accepted their place on the leaderboard and stopped grinding, or is this an algorithmic thing?

I believe it takes your top 5-10 posts and uses those. So if you bang at the beginning of the week and not later, you are stuck.
