When they have an answer for everything. When they name drop excessively. When they are hiring to “pump out features”. When they focus on how rich they are going to make you.

What terrifying job board hell are you hanging out in?! Have only heard the “hiring to pump out features” (but put much nicely) pitch. It’s actually a big reason why I’ve turned down offers, have just seen far more success from leaner teams.

When I am networking in startup circles to find my next engagement it happens. Founders who recently raised are often puffed up and can fall into these categories. If you find better ones lemme know ;) I’m on the lookout
