My experience running a crypto fund for 6 years

Pros
- get to meet and work with some of the smartest founders / teams
- spend days learning many interesting things
- straightforward biz model

Cons
- can be sharp elbows / political
- a lot of fundraising / LP management if starting fund
- far removed from building

Will caveat that starting a fund is a different experience since a decent amount of things you have to do yourself especially early on

"a decent amount of things you have to do yourself especially early on". I'm building stuff and doing everything myself so that's no different. The only way to succeed is by doing stuff yourself even if you plan to hire.
