Alright my last 2 casts were my attempt at passing on some of my knowledge / learnings from running a crypto fund

That said, I'm never going back to venture. Building only from here on out 🫡

My experience running a crypto fund for 6 years

Pros
- get to meet and work with some of the smartest founders / teams
- spend days learning many interesting things
- straightforward biz model

Cons
- can be sharp elbows / political
- a lot of fundraising / LP management if starting fund
- far removed from building

Will caveat that starting a fund is a different experience since a decent amount of things you have to do yourself especially early on

It’s very liberating knowing you’re not going back to something that wasn’t for you, isn’t it?

There are some VCs I really admire and respect. Some are the worst but can't group them all in one bucket :)
