About ~8 years ago, I realized *novelty* helps me stay motivated and excited Easier said than done I've found the most success in playing music with others, meeting new people, and learning new skills (instruments, technology, design, cooking, et al) How do you think about this kind of thing?

I realized the same about myself! It's part of why nomading for the past 3+ years gives me energy since always in different surroundings Otherwise how I've been thinking about it is I love being in beginners mindset constantly so I make sure to find at least one area in my life where I'm always learning something new

One thing I really enjoyed is Michael and I met up in person several times for a skill swap where he taught me quantum computing and I taught him crypto and VC. Was super fun both being in beginners mindset in different topics https://x.com/michael_nielsen/status/1469797926276796419?s=46&t=QNlz9swNdb9dxGQvZZJaCw
