I've gone deep down the rabbit hole on this one :P

I think the article was a hit piece with a lot of things taken out of context or written with bias (the author has since released other content that is more nuanced). That said, definitely a complicated situation and not something I would have picked for myself

My first reaction when I read the article was feeling really bad for Hannah but also saw videos on the flip side that made me realize how biased articles can dictate how it makes someone feel

Just my opinion after reading both sides is that the first article portrays her husband and family as not *allowing* her to talk alone vs just having a household of 10 people is chaotic and hard to fine alone time (esp if wasn't part of the upfront agreement which it wasn't as stated in second article)

this is super interesting to hear, but I don't understand the issue with the reporter wanting to speak to the subject of the piece alone. thats pretty standard, why is it inappropriate?
