She’s an adult and she can make her own choices Where I raise an eyebrow is the part where it seems like her husband is stopping her from doing that, namely the part where she had to hide her epidural from him

My 2 cents: yes, she has agency as @keccers.eth mentioned. However, it’s way more difficult to use that agency and do whatever you want when you’re under tremendous pressure from your religious upbringing, from your husband that forces a first date on your flight to NY and later on from having at least one of stream of incomes come from you flying the flag of your lifestyle high on social media for millions of people to see. We’ll prob never know if she’s really happy or regrets not being a dancer anymore. It’s more useful to ask, why does she feel she needs to compete in a beauty pageant (won’t even get into this rn haha) only 12 days after birth? Why does she feel like she needs to give up her dreams? Why does she feel she needs to hide the epidural from her husband? These are very specific to her, but women everywhere go through similar situations of erasing themselves to conform to the life that’s expected of them @ted

I've gone deep down the rabbit hole on this one :P I think the article was a hit piece with a lot of things taken out of context or written with bias (the author has since released other content that is more nuanced). That said, definitely a complicated situation and not something I would have picked for myself

hiding the epidural & the prolonged periods of "exhaustion" gave me bad vibes. he gives me bad vibes in general but yeah, like keccers said she's an adult, she has agency

Been following her some years, the wild kids are the best. It’s a classic influencer account - looks pretty as a cake, probably not too tasty but it’s at least a good show

Being a mom is hard. Whether you have 8 kids or one child at any age. There are def aspects of their belief system that I don’t agree with, but I have friends who are having kids at 35 and still feel like they are giving a lot up to have a family. I would absolutely invest in help and an epidural with their bank account.
