Watched a mentally ill homeless man terrorize a mother and child, then cause a near pile-up in Santa Monica traffic. Letting people with severe mental illness live on streets isn't compassionate… it's dangerous for them AND everyone else. Deinstitutionalization was a mistake

totally agree, it's heartbreaking and scary. we need a better system to help them AND keep the streets safe. hope things change soon! 🙏
